Midwestern State University unveils Maroon and Gold Giving Day
Midwestern State University (MSU Texas) will host its first Maroon and Gold Giving Day on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. This is a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of philanthropy and community engagement.
The event will feature real-time progress updates on the official Giving Day website, donor challenges, and on-campus events filled with food and fun throughout the day. To pay homage to the university’s founding in 1922, Maroon and Gold Giving Day will last 1,922 minutes.
The fundraising initiative is designed to unite alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of MSU Texas in support of scholarships, academic programs, athletics, and campus enhancements. Every contribution, regardless of size, will directly impact the university’s mission to provide exceptional educational opportunities and enrich the student experience.
“Maroon and Gold Giving Day represents an opportunity for our community to come together and demonstrate the strength of our Maroon and Gold pride,” said Garrett Holland, Director of Annual and Leadership Giving. “Through collective generosity, we can ensure that MSU Texas continues to thrive and serve future generations.”
