Soccer Championship Parade & Celebration Rescheduled for Feb. 7

Midwestern State University is rescheduling the NCAA Champion Men’s Soccer team National Championship Parade & Celebration to 2 p.m., Saturday, February 7.

The event was rescheduled because of the winter weather expected for January 25. MSU Texas wanted more community members and soccer fans to be able to join the celebration comfortably.

The public is invited to line up and cheer the champs along the parade route (map). The parade route will begin at Sikes Senter Mall and move down Midwestern Parkway before entering campus on Louis J Rodriguez Drive to Comanche Trail and then heading to the Stangs Park soccer field on the Rogers Promenade.

Fans can come see the team be introduced at Stang Park, check out the Fun Zone area, visit Autograph Alley, take photos with the players and the championship trophies. The Fun Zone will be set up in Parking Lot 9 (near Soccer and softball fields). There will also be giveaways, and several food trucks will be available (for payment) and the MSU Texas concession stand will be open.

Fans can purchase their own championship T-Shirts (maroon or white) and a 2025 NCAA National Champions hat at the MSU Bookstore.

The Mustangs won the school’s first team championship on Dec. 14 with a 2-0 victory over Rollins in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
