MSU Texas recognized with Chamber of Commerce Awards

Midwestern State University was honored with two awards during the Governor’s Small Business Summit on Nov. 14 as the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce conducted its Annual Chamber Awards Ceremony.

The University was named Chamber Partner Organization of the Year, and President Stacia Haynie was honored as the Chamber Leader of the Year.

“What an incredible honor for Midwestern State University. Over the past year, we have partnered with the Chamber on numerous events such as the Pre-Flight Festival and Market, Leaderfest, and the Values Summit, all designed to showcase and support our local community,” Haynie said. “We are honored to come alongside the Chamber and so many outstanding businesses and organizations to build the best Wichita Falls possible.”

MSU Texas and Haynie were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the community with custom Wichita Falls belt buckles designed by the Chamber. The annual awards represent the spirit of preeminence, collaboration, and leadership that drives Wichita Falls forward.
