Move-In Day featured great teamwork and unity
Residence Life & Housing had a fun and successful Mustangs Move-In Day for Fall 2024, with 58 team members and 237 volunteers assisting throughout the move-in process.
There were 1,525 students assigned for Fall 2024, with 530 students arriving before the official August 20 Mustangs Move-In, and 584 students moved in Tuesday.
“Residence Life & Housing has been fortunate to work with many campus colleagues to ensure a successful move-in experience for students,” Residence Life & Housing Director Kristi Schulte said. “It truly is a collective effort which showcases the best of what our campus community has to offer. Whether we’re talking about our facilities crew, who have worked hard to ensure each housing unit is ready, or working with our volunteers who greet each student as they arrive, we recognize this day is about more than just logistics. This day is about creating an atmosphere where students feel supported, excited, and at ease as they transition into a new chapter of their lives.”
Schulte wanted to credit the following departments for their many contributions to the Mustangs Move-In Day:
- • Facility Services (maintenance & custodial)
- • Grounds
- • Admissions
- • University Police
- • Clark Student Center
- • Office of Student Leadership & Involvement
- • Campus Dining
