Today, we grieve the passing of beloved women’s basketball coach Noel Johnson. Noel passed this morning after her 14-month battle with ovarian cancer with her loved ones by her side. Noel will be remembered for her kindness, determination and courage.

She mentored countless numbers of young women for success, both on and off the basketball court. She prepared her student-athletes for the trials that would come outside the world of basketball, and, sadly, for times such as this.

It is with immense sadness at this tragic loss that I encourage you to gather with your friends and colleagues to share in your grief and celebrate Noel’s life.
