Assistant professor of Kinesiology honored
Carrie Taylor, an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Midwestern State University, was inducted into the Commission on Sports Management Accreditation Hall of Fame as a Master Professor of Sport Management.
The Board of Directors announced the honor at the COSMA Hall of Fame induction luncheon.
An MSU Texas student nominated Taylor and that nomination letter was read publicly before Taylor went forward to receive her honor.
“It was quite touching and great to know we are making an impact on our students in so many ways,” MSU Texas Assistant Professor of Kinesiology Sandra Shawver said. “She was totally caught off guard and humbled with the recognition. I say it is well-deserved, and I am proud of her and all she adds to our department, college, and university.”
