MSU Texas names President's Medal of Excellence recipients
Students graduating with the highest grade point averages from each of the six academic colleges were honored at the Midwestern State University commencement ceremony held May 12. The President's Medal of Excellence winners received their medals from President Suzanne Shipley.
Madison Rose Salvatore graduated summa cum laude with a major in marketing from the Dillard College of Business Administration.
Earning summa cum laude honors from the Gordon T. and Ellen West College of Education were Carli Elaine Clifton, early childhood-grade 6: generalist; Hailey Paige Morris, early childhood-grade 6: generalist; and Jennie Lacampuenga Wigen, early childhood-grade 6: generalist.
Kelsey Elizabeth Purcell graduated summa cum laude with a major in mass communication from the Lamar D. Fain College of Fine Arts.
Charity LeAnn Hudson-Wallis, a radiologic technology major; and Christina Diep Nguyen, a dental hygiene major; graduated summa cum laude from the Robert D. and Carol Gunn College of Health Sciences and Human Services.
Earning summa cum laude honors from the Prothro-Yeager College of Humanities and Social Sciences were Luke Allen Gregory, a double major in political science and Spanish; Mallory Elizabeth Patiag Evangelista, English; and Natalia Zamora Garcia, a double major in political science and global studies.
Carson Parker Barnard, a biology major; and Cavaughn Xavier Browne, a computer science major; graduated summa cum laude from the College of Science and Mathematics.
