Artist Lecture presents leading guitarist in Celtic music

The next Artist Lecture event will be Tony McManus at 7 p.m. November 13 in Akin Auditorium.

In a little more than 10 years as a professional musician, Tony McManus has come to be recognized throughout the world as the leading guitarist in Celtic music. From early childhood his twin obsessions of traditional music and acoustic guitar have worked together to produce a startlingly original approach to this ancient art.

Special thanks to Dr. Brian Hull with Acoustic Arts Production, Pat and Bill Thacker, and John Hirschi for their support of this musical event.

Cost:  $15 to general public.  Free to MSU students with ID.  Two free tickets to staff/faculty.  Tickets are available at the Information Desk at Clark Student Center two weeks prior to event.
