Annual CaribFest to take place Friday

The annual Caribfest is a celebration of Caribbean culture. The reason for the event is to raise funds for local charities supported by the Caribbean Students Organization (CSO). This year those charities are Hospice of Wichita Falls, First Step Inc., and WFISD. A colorful, musical, and festive parade on the campus starts at 5 p.m. and ends at Sunwatcher Plaza, where a buffet of Caribbean foods will be offered. For the rest of the evening, enjoy musical and cultural performances and other activities for the entire family.

Tickets may be purchased from any CSO member or from the booth in Clark Student Center. Food tickets are $5; Caribfest T-shirts sell for $12. Special ticket packages: $35 for 2 t-shirts and 3 food tickets; $25 for 1 t-shirt and 2 food tickets; $25 for 1 t-shirt and 1 food ticket and 1 Glow party ticket.
