National Science Foundation awards grant to MSU
The National Science Foundation has awarded a planning grant of $23,711 to Midwestern State University. This project is titled "Planning a Biological and Geological Research Station in the Big Bend Region of Texas." The grant is under the direction of Norman Horner, Director of Natural Laboratories; Pamela A. Stephens, Chair and Associate Professor of Geosciences; and William B. Cook, Chair and Professor of Biology.
This grant is through the program for "Improvements in Facilities, Communications, and Equipment at Biological Field Stations and Marine Laboratories (FSML)" and is effective January 15, 2009 to
December 31,2009.
