New exhibition opens to celebrate 30 years of art at MSU

The Juanita Harvey Art Gallery presents Thirty Year Selected Retrospective:  Midwestern State University Art Gallery 1978-2008 in the main gallery; From the Collection of The School of Visual Arts in the foyer gallery and Behind The Scenes in the Theater Atrium in the Fain Fine Arts Center.  The exhibitions will run from Friday, October 31, 2008, through Friday, January 9, 2009, with an opening reception from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31.

The exhibition, Thirty Year Selected Retrospective:  Midwestern State University Art Gallery 1978-2008, serves a selected sampling made up of 29 talented artists we have had the honor of representing in the past thirty years.  Artists included are: Mark Anderson, Corpus Christi, TX; Joe Ed Barrington, Throckmorton, TX ; Ken Dixon, Lubbock, TX;  John Fincher, Santa Fe, NM; Barbara Frey, Commerce, TX; David Gibson; Frank Gohlke, Tucson, AZ ; Maurice Gray, Moreno Valley, CA; Kenneth J.
