Four MSU students recognized for scores
Four graduating seniors and an MBA student in the Dillard College of Business Administration scored in the top 10 percent nationally of all business students taking the Educational Testing Service's Major Field Test in Business.
The seniors include Joshua Canafax of Wichita Falls, a finance and accounting major; Cecilia Prine of Wichita Falls, an accounting major; Brett Coats of The Woodlands, a marketing major; and Andrew Fischer of Olney, a marketing and management major. The MBA student is Jon Hammonds of Bridgeport.
This is the fourth time that the Dillard College of Business has the privilege of recognizing the outstanding achievement of its students, according to Dr. Anthony F. Chelte, dean of the Dillard College of Business Administration.
He said they have been named to the Top Ten Percent Club and will be recognized at a luncheon and will be presented a certificate and have their names permanently engraved on the Top Ten Percent Club plaque in the building.
"Our students' performance is truly a reflection of the commitment, dedication and excellence in the classroom demonstrated by the business faculty," Chelte said.
