Artist-Lecture Series to host Diane Rehm
Diane Rehm began her radio career in 1973 as a volunteer at WAMU's local morning talk show, Kaleidoscope, which was renamed The Diane Rehm Show in 1984. Rehm offers her listeners compelling conversations with the world's most interesting and important people. During each hour, she invites listeners to join the conversation by opening the phones to their questions and comments on the topic at hand. Her award-winning program has been distributed to stations across the United States, Europe, and Japan. Among her many awards, she has been honored as a fellow by the Society of Professional Journalists, the highest honor the society bestows on a journalist.
The event will be held October 10 at 7:00 p.m. in Akin Auditorium. Tickets are available at the Clark Student Center Information Desk or by calling 397-4224.
