FB: Mustangs to be featured on a CSTV Broadband Game of the Week
WICHITA FALLS, Texas - For the second straight year, Midwestern State will be featured in a College Sports Television (CSTV) NCAA Division II Football Game of the Week.
The NCAA Division II Presidents' Council and the NCAA Division II Media Advisory Group announced the selection of the Mustangs' Oct. 6 showdown with rival West Texas A&M as one of four broadband games to be aired that weekend.
CSTV is in the second year of a three-year agreement with NCAA's Division II, and once again, NCAA Productions will produce several regular season football, men's basketball and women's basketball TV and broadband games.
This will be Midwestern State's second appearance on the national Web cast as the Mustangs rolled to a 41-17 win over Angelo State in 2006 at Memorial Stadium in a CSTV Game of the Week.
Last season, CSTV produced four NCAA Division II football games a week and aired 60 basketball games on its CBS-based Web site.
