            WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The Midwestern State University softball doubleheader against Texas Woman's University scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled.

            Rain from Tuesday left the field too wet to play and deemed unplayable.

            The doubleheader will not be rescheduled.

            Because of this cancellation and the cancellation of Saturday's doubleheader with Angelo State, the Mustangs (36-13, 15-5) will not play again until Tuesday, April 24 at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

            MSU, the leader in the Lone Star Conference North Division, will play it's final home doubleheader on Saturday, April 28 when it will open it's new on-campus softball field against Southwestern Oklahoma at 3 p.m.
