FREE CHILDREN'S INJURY PREVENTION FAIR (Apr 21)

J.S. Bridwell Hall on Hampstead Drive
Fun activities will help children learn how to prevent injuries at home, in the car, and at play. They will also learn how to be safe around water, fire, electricity, animals, guns, and poisons. Safety precautions on the Internet and around strangers or other "tricky" people will be included. The fire department will teach children how to escape a burning building. From 10:00 am until noon, the police department will inspect car seats to ensure their safety.
Children will also learn about nutrition and activity for healthy bodies, and prevention of infection and many common illnesses. Parents will learn the importance of prevention, and how to encourage safe behaviors in their children. Prizes will be awarded for the various games, and numerous door prizes will be given away. This fair promises to be a wonderful family activity. Bring your children for a morning of fun that could just save their lives.
