Dawson Named All-American

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - - Midwestern State men's basketball player Eric Dawson has been named Second Team Division II All-American by the Basketball Times.

            Dawson helped the Mustangs to the NCAA Division II national tournament and a Lone Star Conference title for the first since the 1999-2000 season. He led NCAA Division II in rebounding, averaging 11.4 rebounds per game, as well as led all men's collegiate divisions in double-doubles with 23. Dawson also was sixth nationally in Division II with 3.2 blocks a game, and led the team in scoring with 17.4 points a game.
