Artist-Lecture Series: Wes Craven (Apr 13)


Artist-Lecture Series presents award-winning director Wes Craven. After employment as a college humanities teacher and a taxi driver, Craven became a sound editor for a post-production company in New York.  He went on to direct such movies as The Hills Have Eyes and A Nightmare on Elm Street.  In 1999 he directed Music of the Heart, a change of direction from the horror genre for which he is known. Craven holds a master's degree in writing and philosophy from Johns Hopkins University.

 Cost:  A ticket purchased for the Oct. 23 appearance will be honored on this rescheduled date. A limited number of standing room only tickets will be available two weeks prior to the event.
$15 to general public.  Free to MSU students with ID.  Two free tickets to staff/faculty.  Tickets are available at the Information Desk at Clark Student Center two weeks prior to event.
