LSC Honors Petersen

WICHITA FALLS , Texas  - - The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly softball honors with Katie Petersen nabbing LSC North Pitcher of the Week.

Petersen, a freshman from Plano, was key in helping the Mustangs go a perfect 6-0 last week in LSC North play. She finished the week with a 4-0 record, including three complete games and one shutout, 0.84 Earned Run Average, and 29 strikeouts.

MSU (22-8, 6-2), who is currently on an eight game winning streak, returns to the diamond next week when they face Cameron University on Tuesday March 20. The two teams will play a doubleheader with game one set to start at 1:00 p.m. in Lawton.
