Mustangs Invitational Softball Schedule Changed

- The Midwestern State University Mustangs Invitational Softball Tournament has suffered delays and a schedule change due to the extreme cold weather and brief snow around the
Wichita Falls
area earlier Thursday.

The six-team tournament featuring MSU,

Northeastern
State
(
Okla.
), East Central (
Okla.
), West Texas A&M,
Southern Arkansas
and St. Mary's was scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Wichita Falls Softball Complex on Sheppard Access Road at
Maurine Street
. The tourney will now play only one set of pool-play games on Friday beginning at 4 p.m.

Three sets of games will be played on Saturday, with pool play continuing at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Then at 3 p.m., a final set of games will be played between the two pools, with the numbers ones playing each other, along with the twos meeting and the threes squaring off.

The action begins with MSU facing Southern Arkansas, East Central meeting St. Mary's and West Texas A&M playing
