- The Midwestern State University Mustangs went on a 12-6 run in the final six minutes of the game to defeat

Oklahoma

61-55 in a Lone Star Conference divisional crossover contest.

MSU (3-3) got two layups and a free throw from junior Kaylon Hodge in a 40 second period to start the run and snap a 51-all tie and never allowed SWOSU (2-6) back into the game.

Hodge led the Mustangs with 20 points and nine rebounds, while senior Sonya Calhoun-Courtney added 14 points with six boards and four steals, and junior Brittni Burks chipped in 11 points.

got 15 points from Jessica Bailey, while Andrea Oldham added 10 points with nine rebounds and Dru Tomaszewski also scored 10 points.

MSU shot 47 percent for the game from the floor, but 52 percent in the second half. The Mustangs also shot 43 percent from the three-point arc. The Mustangs held SWOSU to shooting just 43 percent from the floor.
