men's soccer Coach Doug Elder is been named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Midwest Region Coach of the Year.

The Mustangs finished the season 18-2-2, and made it to the NCAA Division II Regional final, before losing in a shoot out to national runner-up

Elder is now up for the NSCAA/adidas National Coach of the year, and will go up against the other seven regional winners for the honor.
