WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State University soccer players Brandon Swartzendruber and Daniel Woolard were rewarded for their efforts in this past weekend's games with the Southwest Soccer Conference Players of the Week, which is awarded by the conference office.

Swartzendruber was the Offensive Player of the Week. He scored the first goal against then top-ranked Fort Lewis (Colo.), and finished the weekend with a total of seven shots on goal.

Woolard was named Defensive Player of the week. He played key defense in both of the wins, helping shut down one of the nations top goal scorers in John Cunliffe of Fort Lewis on Friday, then helped the Mustang defense get its fifth shut out of the season in the win over Colorado School of Mines.

The Mustangs will be in action again on Thursday, when they play host to Texas Wesleyan University as part of a men's/women's doubleheader, which is the final regular season home game for the men.
