- The Midwestern State University men's soccer team remained number two in the latest NCAA Midwest Region poll.

Defending national champion

) holds the top spot again in the Midwest, followed by MSU, Incarnate Word, and
Metro
State

Colo.
).

The Regional polls determine what teams go to the NCAA Division II tournament, with the top four teams advancing. The team which is ranked number one in each region is the host school for each regional tournament, which begin play next week.

The Mustangs will host the Southwest Soccer Conference tournament this week, playing
