Mustangs Soccer Ranked No. 2
WICHITA FALLS , Texas - The Midwestern State University men's soccer team has been ranked number two in the first NCAA Midwest Region poll of the season.
The Regional polls determine what teams go to the NCAA Division II tournament, with the top four teams advancing. The team which is ranked number one in each region is the host school for each regional tournament.
Defending national champion Fort Lewis ( Colo.) holds the top spot in the Midwest, followed by MSU, Incarnate Word, and Metro State ( Colo.).
The Mustangs will be on the road for their final two games of the season, playing at Missouri Southern on Friday, and then at Northeastern State ( Okla.) on Sunday.
