men's soccer coach Doug Elder hit a major milestone when the Mustangs beat
Eastern New Mexico
, 5-1 on Thursday.

Elder picked up his 100th career win, and is currently number one in win percentage at Midwestern with a percentage of 73 percent. He also ranks fifth among active Division II coaches.

Elder has a record of 100-28-10 overall, and has been the head men's coach since 2000. The former MSU soccer All-American began his coaching career at

, and then spent 12 seasons at

, before coming back to Midwestern.

This years Mustangs have already won the Southwest Soccer Conference regular season title, and will play West Texas A&M on Saturday for the SSC tournament title. The match is set to kickoff from the MSU Soccer Field at 12 p.m.
