- The Midwestern State University football team moved up two spots in the national rankings this week.
The Mustangs climbed to 23rd in the weekly American Football Coaches Association Division II Poll after beating Southeastern
Oklahoma

33-23 last Saturday.
MSU, with a 7-2 overall record, 5-2 in all Lone Star Conference games and 2-2 in the LSC South Division, is the third team for the LSC in the poll this week.
West Texas A&M (8-1) climbed one notch to 12th this week, while Abilene Christian (7-1) fell five spots to 19th after a 37-36 loss to .

No. 23 Midwestern hosts Eastern New Mexico
Saturday at 1 p.m. in Memorial Stadium. It's the regular season home finale for the Mustangs and the annual Holiday Food Drive. Two cans of food will allow fans to purchase a $2 general admission ticket.
