MSU hosts LSC Individual Tennis Championships

will once again play host to the annual Lone Star Conference Individual Tennis Championships.

The tournament is set for six flights of singles action and three flights of doubles play for both men and women.

The individual championships determine the 2006-07 All-Lone Star Conference team, with individual awards to be voted on following the team championships in the spring.

MSU will host the men's and women's tournaments in three locations in

Play begins Friday morning with singles competition. First round matches begin at 8:30 a.m., with the men's semifinals and women's quarterfinals set for 10:30 a.m. Friday's men's singles play is at

. The women's singles are split over two venues, with flights one, two and three at Week's Park and flights four, five and six at MSU.

Friday's double's action will begin with opening round play at 1 p.m. The men's semifinals and women's quarterfinals are to start at 3 p.m. The men's doubles play is at

Saturday has final competition only for the men, with all action at

Admission to the LSC Individual Tennis Championship is free.
