FALLS, - The Midwestern State University Mustangs moved up one spot in this week's NCAA Division II Southwest Regional rankings released by the NCAA.
MSU (7-2) climbed to the seventh spot in the regional poll after beating Southeastern
Oklahoma

33-23 last Saturday.
With Tarleton

's 37-36 upset of Abilene Christian and a 29-25 loss by Fort
Lewis
() to New Mexico Highlands last week, the ranking underwent another shakeup.
Northwest
Missouri
State
(9-0), Chadron

Western
State
(8-1) remained 1-2-3, but (5-3) jumped up to number four.
Abilene Christian (7-1) is five, with West Texas A&M (8-1) six and MSU seven.
Pittsburg

(Kan.
) (8-1) moved up to eighth, with (6-4) dropping to ninth. Southwestern
Oklahoma
State
(5-4) moved up to 10th, with Washburn () (5-4) and Nebraksa-Kearney (4-4) rounding out the 12 teams in the poll.
The regional rankings, which determine the representatives to the NCAA Division II championship continue weekly until the bracket is announced on Nov. 12.
The top six teams in the region advance to the championships.
MSU plays its final regular season home game at Memorial Stadium on Saturday against Eastern New Mexico
with a 1 p.m. kickoff.
