MSU places three players on NFCA South Central Region team
Senior starting pitcher Brittany Willson and sophomore third baseman Kristen Stonecipher were named the first team and junior catcher Racheal Jackson was on the second-team.
Willson was 29-8 in the regular season and posted 261 strikeouts in 241 1/3 innings of work. The opposition hit .226 against the senior from Burkburnett.
Stonecipher finished the regular season with a .400 batting average and lead the team in doubles (16), home runs (16) and RBIs (42). The Flower Mound, Texas product went down on strikes just two times in 202 plate appearances.
