MSU Softball maintains grip on South Central region's top ranking

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The Midwestern State University Mustangs maintained their hold on the South Central regional rankings when the NCAA Division II softball committee released its latest poll Wednesday afternoon.

 

The Mustangs (39-12) hold head-to-head advantages over seven of the nine teams ranked below them, and MSU is 16-8 against other teams currently ranked in the region, which include:

 

Abilene Christian, Southeastern Oklahoma, Incarnate Word, St. Mary's, Regis, Angelo State, Northeastern State, St. Edward's and Central Oklahoma.

 

The top eight teams to the South Central regional tournament, which begins May 11.
