Emerson named LSC Men's tennis player of the week

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State's Brett Emerson was tapped Lone Star Conference men's player of the week for his efforts in leading the Mustangs to a pair of wins over Cameron and Central Oklahoma last week.

The 6-2 junior from Canberra, Australia won each of his No. 1 singles matches and split a pair of No. 1 doubles duels while teaming with Charles van Swelm.

The No. 23-ranked Mustangs (14-4) host the LSC team tournament next weekend.
