IRVING- Inclement weather on Friday suspended play for Midwestern State University in the 2006 Lone Star Conference First Pitch Tournament.

MSU was trailing Angelo State 4-2 in the top of the fifth inning when rain halted play.

More rain is in the forecast for the Metroplex on Saturday, but if the tournament continues, the games halted in progress will be completed. á Then the Saturday schedule will begin.

That mean's that MSU's game with Texas Woman's has been cancelled and games against Texas A&M-Kingsville and Tarleton State would be played weather and time permitting.
