Overnight rains cancel LSC First Pitch Softball
IRVING, Texas -- Wet grounds at Southwest Park forced the cancellation of the Lone Star Conference First Pitch Tournament, league officials announced Saturday morning.
Only four games were completed in Friday's opening round of action. Four other games were in progress when the tournament was suspended Friday afternoon. Those games will not count since none of the contests reached the required five innings needed for an official game.
