Saturday night.

MSU (4-2) trailed by 12 points before going on a 16-5 run to pull within one at 31-30 at the half.

Then in the second half, MSU chipped away at SOSU until grabbing the lead with 13:58 to play on a jumper by Eddie Rowe.

MSU held the lead for six minutes when Southeastern (2-3) regained the lead with a three-pointer from Stephen Harrel to take the lead 45-43 at the 8:03 mark.

Midwestern trailed by one with 3:11 to go following a pair of free throws by LaKeith Grant, but that would be the last points for MSU.

SOSU ripped off an 11-0 run over the final three minutes for the win.

Midwestern State got 13 points from Allen Houston, with Chad Rickett totaling nine points. á Christopher Reay grabbed eight boards for MSU.

Southeastern was led by Eric Babers with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Jason Stampley added 12 points and Matt White 11 points and 10 boards.

The MSU men are off until Thursday night when they play Oklahoma Panhandle in a non-conference affair at

Stockton Courtin Ligon Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
