MSU downs Angelo State 1-0
WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State University freshman Megan Bibilone collected a rebounded shot and blasted it past Angelo State University goal keeper Becky Martin in the game's 88th minute to give MSU a 1-0 victory in Lone Star Conference women's soccer action Saturday.
Bibilone, a freshman from Fort Worth/North Crowley, got the ball on the left side after Martin had knocked away a shot from MSU freshman Maghan Holmes from the right.
MSU (5-6-1, 3-2-0) outshot ASU 19-7 in the match, as Martin collected eight saves for the Rambelles (5-9-1, 2-4-0).
MSU senior goal keeper Elli O'Dwyer chalked up three saves in the match while posting her third shut out of the season.
MSU hosts Northeastern State on Wednesday afternoon in a 4 p.m. match at the MSU Soccer Field.
