Midwestern State University hit another record enrollment for its Summer I term with
This is a 6.7 percent increase over last year's enrollment of 2,587. Semester credit hours were 13,424, up 5.6 percent over the same time period last year. MSU is offering a four-day class schedule this summer in an attempt to save on energy costs. . "Challenges with the state budget caused many universities to cut back on their summer class offerings. We decided to expand our summer program by making more classes available, and enrollment figures show that's been advantageous for our students," stated Dr. Robert Clark, vice president for academic services. The end of Summer I and registration for Summer II will both be on the same day this year, Thursday, July 3.
