Three programs at Midwestern State University have placed in the top 12 nationwide for quality affordable degrees by online college ranking sites.

SR Education Group has ranked MSU eighth on its list of the 2017 Top Online Colleges for Special Education Degrees. The group analyzed accredited online schools across the nation, taking into consideration academic strength with annual tuition rates. MSU's online radiology degree placed ninth in Healthcare Administration Degree Programs' 10 Most Affordable Online Radiology Degree Programs (Bachelor's). To find the best colleges for radiology by price, site officials used the National Center for Education Statistics College Navigator to research all 26 schools that offered four-year accredited online radiography degrees. The schools were sorted by price, using in-state tuition rates, to create the list of the best radiology programs for students concerned about the cost of schooling.
