Reay to play in World University Games

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State forward Christopher Reay will compete in the World University Games next month in Bangkok as part of Team New Zealand.

Reay averaged 6.9 points and 5.9 rebounds a game last season while helping the Mustangs to a 24-7 record and a third trip to the NCAA Division II South Central Regional.

While he was born and raised in Texas, Reay's father, Kevin, is a native of New Zealand. Reay will return to Midwestern this fall for his senior season.

The World University Games, which take place Aug. 8-18, features college-age competitors from around the globe.
