LSC Honors Shaw

                WICHITA FALLS, Texas - - The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly softball honors with Kelli Shaw nabbing LSC North Hitter of the Week.

            Shaw, a senior from Red Oak, Texas, was key in helping the Mustangs go a perfect 5-0 last week. She finished the week with a .467 average, on seven hits and hit her first homerun of the season. She also had seven RBI's, and had a team best .667 slugging percentage.

MSU (30-11, 11-5), who is currently on an eight game winning streak, returns to the Wednesday when they face Oklahoma Panhandle State. The two teams will play a doubleheader with game one set to start at 2:00 p.m. in Goodwell.
