Thompson Named Director of Soccer at NDNU

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - - The Midwestern State men's soccer team has announced that former assistant coach Lance Thompson has been named the Director of Soccer at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California.

Thompson will be in charge of both the men's and women's programs at NDNU, with both teams winning Pacific West Conference Championships in 2006.

"I have enjoyed the players, fans, and students and Midwestern" Thompson said. "I had planned to stay for a while, but when this Job presented itself, I couldn't pass it up".

Before spending a year as an assistant at Midwestern, Thompson was the men's head soccer coach and Athletic Director at
